SHIPPING POLICY

As we are a small family run business we do not want to promise anything we are not fully confident we can fulfil. Therefore, we have kept our shipping very simple for now, but hope to be able to offer more options in the future. Of course if you have a special request please do contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Shipping Rates

Free Standard UK Tracked Delivery on orders over £50 (after discount)

​

Standard UK Tracked:  Royal Mail UK Tracked 48, dispatched within 1-3 working days

  • Small and light: £2.75

  • Standard: £3.85

​

Priority UK Tracked: Royal Mail UK Tracked 24, prioritised and dispatched within 1-2 working days

  • Small and light: £3.75

  • Standard: £4.95

​

Free Local Delivery: Within 6 km of Wokingham Town Centre

 

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

We do have a small number of products that are sent out directly from the supplier, details of this will be on the product listing.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We really hope you are happy with your purchase from Curious Littles Play but if for some reason you would like to return or exchange your item/s, our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. 

​

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging. 

​

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. This will be stated clearly on the product details if applicable.  

​

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. 

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

  • Book with obvious signs of use

SALE ITEMS (if applicable) 

​

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. An exchange may be offered at the discretion of Curious Littles Play.

REFUNDS (if applicable)

 

Once your return is received and checked, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

EXCHANGES (if applicable) 

​

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at jenni@curiouslittlesplay.com and we will advise you of what to do next.

*** Please note, due to the natural materials of our products, we do not consider natural characteristics of wood (such as knots, mineral lines/marks and wood grain) as a fault. With products that are handmade, each is unique (and special) so may differ from that of the images shown in our product details. ***

SHIPPING OF RETURNS

 

To return your product, send us an email at jenni@curiouslittlesplay.com and we will advise you of what to do next. 

​

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

When returning an item it is advisable to consider using a trackable shipping service. You must keep your proof of postage as it is not guaranteed that we will receive your returned item. 

​

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. 

 

​

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable) 

​

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

 

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 

​

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 

​
