Hello, I am Jenni, Wife to Mark and Mummy to my two wonderful boys Freddie and Charlie, both my inspiration and motivation.

So, how did Curious Littles Play come about? Like many first-time parents, our home was once filled with the usual high street toys, ones that caught attention briefly, but never truly held it. As I began to explore alternative approaches to play, I discovered the beauty of simpler, more natural resources and the magic of open-ended play… and everything changed.

​

I quickly saw first-hand how these toys invited deeper engagement, creativity, and imagination, growing with my children rather than being quickly outgrown. Just as importantly, they are thoughtfully made and kind to the environment, created by small businesses, and designed to be treasured for years to come.

​

During those early years at home (and especially through lockdown), I found so much joy in creating play setups and sharing our days with a wonderful online community. What began as a personal passion soon grew into something more, and in 2021

I took a leap of faith, leaving my role in the NHS to create Curious Littles Play.

​

More recently, our journey has evolved again as we have stepped into home education, something that feels so beautifully aligned with everything Curious Littles Play stands for: slowing down, following children’s interests, and nurturing a lifelong love of exploration and learning.

​

Every piece you’ll find here is something I would happily welcome into our own home.
